I'm just curious if there are Christians who don't believe in the Bible because that is the basic of this faith. Bible is the great history book of the Christ in the beginning with God when there were nothing but their voices. The Bible is also the prophesy of things to come and how believers of the faith shall be rewarded when the end comes. It compiles the story of all witnesses of the faith.

So I don't think any person should call himself Christian if he does not believe on the one surviving link to the past...the fossil of this faith are the scrolls written by witnesses of that era.

I don't think anyone can point you to where the correct path is.The right path for the seeker of the one-true God could never be given by any religious group. It would be hard to explain spirituality and it is impossible to comprehend the presence of an omnipotent God---but there is at the core of you that tells you, you are more than flesh and reason---that around you is more than the force of nature---that life has a deeper meaning than daily living---

Spirituality is not a uniform you put on. If tomorrow you find yourself waking up and the sunshine almost blinded you and you think that was not God, probably it's not him. If the earth shakes and still you think it was not God, then probably it's still not him...If you think thunder is not the voice of God nor the words written on the Bible, nobody can ever make you believe nor point you to where God is.

If you do not wish to refer to the Bible, as long as you seek God, you will find him because He is also looking for those people looking for Him.

Buddha's path to God started when he fell silent under the banyan tree.
Mohammed found his way to God on the road to Mecca.
Christ's way to God started when he called him "Father"
There is not one way to God because He reveals Himself to people of the past and the present in a million ways.

When I questioned my faith, I threw a question in the air: Why is Christ's name above all the other name in heaven, on earth and the underworld? Why not Noah? Why not Moses? Why not Elijah?

And it was answered in a way only I can understand in which I could not explain to anyone. The answer came to me when I experienced the feast of the Nazareno in Quiapo (Manila, Philippines).

We know that no man can call Jesus Lord unless it is God's will:

1st Corinthians chapter 12:3
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Take a look at the claims of this Ministry: "Family Radio". I have been a long time listener and am currently enrolled in a MA in Theology program via Liberty University Distance Education Program. I believe the Theology of the Ministry is faithful to the word, but this meat of the Bible requires a level of study that is not done overnight. The scripture says that in the last days there will be those who explain great mysteries of the Bible (I can't remember exactly where), although the same spirit teaches us all, apparently there are those who have been given deep understanding of spiritual matters.

Check this oust and let me know what you think.

MR AVERAGE CHRISTIAN,

Great article on the difficulties and conflict that can arise when we go against what God would have us to do as Christians. I had this very same conversation with an aunt of mine, as she basically told me to take the opportunity that was being presented, by a rocky situation in my marriage, "to run as fast as I can from the marriage", calling in to mind the unequallly yoked principle set forth in the scripture. I would like to fancy myself a Christian and my spouse is someone who God has not yet (at least as far as I can tell), if he plans to at all and I pray that he does, revealed himself to in the form of Jesus Christ. I quickly called to mind:

1 Corinthians 7:13-16 (King James Version)

13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

I believe this scripture speaks directly to the "varying circumstances" that you spoke of within your article and it is a comfort for not only those that have become believers after they are married, but to those who have made the bad and costly judgement of getting involved with an unbeliever when they knew that the scripture warned against it.

I guess all the things that God would have us to do may seem tedious at times but as I read elsewhere within you blog, it's just like God says in: Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you: ” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

As Christians we are going to suffer in this world, as everyone one suffers even non believers, but when we make decisions that are not in accordance with God's will we bring the pain on ourselves. I am gratefull that God can take a shortcoming and turn it around for his Glory!

God is faithful towards his people even though we are unfaithful at times. We have the promise through various scriptures in the bible that he will never forsake his people, but restore them through discipline and chastisement as a loving father would a son.... as the scripture tells us in Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Great Blog and God's Blessings in Jesus Christ Name. Stop by my website "giveyourwitness.com" and leave your personal testimony on how you came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior under the "personal testimonies" category as a comment, if you care to share or just leave a comment on one of the articles that are meant to edify, strengthen and build up the body of Christ.

I have some questions. . . I was raised christians had a good walk with the lord. fell to temptation. walked away from the lord for about 2 years. I have goten my head streightened around now and have been walking with the lord again for around 6 mo. my issue is i have found a really good christian girlfirend. Very strong loves to study we are doing devotions together every day. we are in love. but we struggle with the fact that at one point in my life i when i was not walking with the lord i feel to pornogphy, was violated by my girlfirend at the time and became unpure. Is there a way that or any placed to look in the bible for guidence with a issue like this? Can some one that was not a christian live up to the expectations of a life christian girl? where do i find guidence

Thanks
